I thought it might be nice to document my improvement in using my new camera. Hopefully I'll improve....but if not I'll have 52 photos to look at a year from now. One photo a week. Someone or something in my home or yard or life that strikes me ~ for whatever reason.

Look 8

Tree Lace

One of the best things about 30 plus inches of snow (and there are some best things) is having opportunities to take photos of all the white stuff. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder....and I "beholded" a lot beauty!

  2. Such a beautiful photograph~
You did capture the hidden beauty behind the frigid, slush, shoveling, cold... (can you tell we have had enough) ha! ha!
Tonight, my daughter and I saw the most gorgeous pink-salmon sunset. A sure sign of warmer temps and spring!
Hope you are having a wonderful evening!

  7. Eerily beautiful. The snow on tree limbs is beautiful to look at but I truly hope we've seen the last of it. (60-degrees here today but still mounds of snow around)

  8. I came here from your other blog Spun by Me and I'm glad I did. I'll be interested to follow your experiences learning how to use your camera. There's a softness to this photo that is especially lovely.
