I thought it might be nice to document my improvement in using my new camera. Hopefully I'll improve....but if not I'll have 52 photos to look at a year from now. One photo a week. Someone or something in my home or yard or life that strikes me ~ for whatever reason.

Look 10

Butterflies

On a recent get-away to Williamsburg, VA I went to the largest Yankee Candle store I've ever seen. There were beautiful displays every where I looked. My favorites were the garden displays. I found this wonderful bowl of butterflies in one of them.

  3. I love your perspective of our photos. I am so not good at taking pictures. My DH bought me a wonderful camera and I am trying to pay attention but I would rather be creating with fabric and beads. Thank you for sharing.

  4. The butterfly candles are beautiful!
By the way, I'm pretty impressed that your camera takes black and white and sepia. Too cool!
Please enter my name in your great glitter give-away.

  5. Marie, this is such a great idea for a Blog. I LOVE the two black and white ones. Elijah looks adorable and YOU KNOW how I feel about stacks of quilts! The Sepia one turned out wonderful, too. Maybe I'll encourage my Sara to do a Blog just of her photography...great idea.

  6. Love Williamsburg....we lived just outside Williamsburg in Newport News for a year and made frequent trips to the Yankee Candle Shop, Outlets, Antique Mall, Candle Factory and so on. Sure do miss it!
